Sometimes I look back on my childhood and I realize how much more creative I was. It’s really disheartening and I wonder where it went; people blame school and standardized testing; the notion of normality. We’re all conditioned to want to fit in an be “normal”. Anything else gets you berated or laughed at, and both of those hurt. It takes you so long to realize that there’s no such thing as normal. By then it’s too late.
